Being a CASA has humbled me. These children are suffering, yet they show great strength and resilience. They are often optimistic about their lives no matter how unpleasant they may be.
CASA Volunteer
Before I met Sindy, I didn’t have faith in the people who were supposed to help me.
Remembering that I have built relationships with these kids. I want to model adult consistency and loyalty. I am invested and know I am making a difference with “my two girls.”
My kid has had half a dozen case workers in the last year, but I’ve been here the whole time looking out for him. I want him to know he can depend on me.
I would have been lost in foster care without my CASA volunteer.
